Semi-Finals Victory!
Now on to the Finals in Tralee in August!

On June 16, 2008, in Portlaoise, Ireland, in an electric atmosphere, Rita Talty, the New Jersey Rose, qualified for the Rose of Tralee finals. (Click Here to see her semi-final interview.)

To give a sense of Rita's accomplishment, Roses from Counties Louth and Cavan also qualified at the event. For both Counties, this is the first time ever that their Rose has made it through to the finals.

Our warmest congratulations to Rita. She has been everything we could have hoped for and more as the representative of the Irish of the State of New Jersey.
