Junior Roses and Rose Buds

Junior Roses, ages 13 - 17 Application

We are looking for young ladies, age 13-17, of Irish heritage to participate as Junior Roses. The Junior Roses will be interviewed at the Selection Ball and the winner will be crowned as the New Jersey Junior Rose. This is wonderful preparation for becoming a Rose Delegate.

Rosebuds, ages 5 - 12 Application

We are looking for young ladies, age 5-12, of Irish heritage that would like to represent the New Jersey Rose of Tralee as a New Jersey Rosebud. Rosebuds serve as an Honor Guard of sorts for the Rose Candidates. They lead the candidates into the ball for the introductions, lead them into the ballroom for their on-stage interviews and make a presentation to the candidates. They also serve a vital role by enabling the judges to observe how well each candidate relates to young children. After all, the biggest Rose of Tralee fans in Ireland are the young children.
